It rained until almost exactly four o'clock, the ceremony started forty minutes behind, and a vendor never showed up at all, none of which anybody remembers now. What they remember is that the sky broke open over the water around six and the light came in sideways across the eighteenth green for maybe twenty minutes, and we were already standing there when it did.
